Papa John Schnatter is a Douche Bag


I am reading a lot of hateful reviews toward Papa John's Pizza, and why not???

I'm hearing this a lot lately...As a person who once worked there a long time ago, I can tell you that I got a lot of complaints when I picked up the phone and took customer's orders. About 2/3 were complaints. A lot of those complaints were people who got: Cold pizza, the wrong pizza, or simply never got their pizza.

Their customer service is by far the worst, and it shows simply by their hole in the wall stores. If they appreciated their buyers, they would create a dine-in restaurant experience like Pizza Hut.

John Schnatter founded a restaurant with an arrogant, douche bag, advertisement approach towards their consumers; as if they have a lot to prove...Now when you look at the success of Pizza Hut, with their support of the Book It club, kids meals, and other family oriented vibes. So I guess they feel like they have a lot to make up for and why they should hate on Pizza Hut for their classy success.

Better ingredients? Why am I constantly reading reviews on how Papa Johns Pizza causes people to get sick? Maybe because their fastest growing pizza chains can't keep a pizza HOT by the time it is delivered to the customer's door. Which the delivery boy/girl wait in the car for you to pick it up yourself instead of knocking on your door and delivering it like their supposed to.

Schnatter's vision of customer service is simply making plane (but not cheap) bread sticks and slipping a single, shriveled up, pepperoncini (banana pepper) in every pizza box and a special garlic sauce that is 60% fat.

I guess as far as BETTER PIZZA is concerned...Through the eyes of the so proud founder and CEO. John Schnatter's words of "finding a better pizza" might merely interest you as far as a fast food type of feel; the feeling you get after you tear into a lukewarm and greasy sandwich that sat on the steel guard for over an hour.

Has anybody ever had the privilege to have their pizza delivered during a thunderstorm, but having the driver sit in his/her car waiting for you to come out in the pouring rain, to pick up your pizza??? Well John Schnatter believes that delivery boys aren't supposed to deliver to your door anymore, you actually have to go out to their car and get it yourself...A friend of mine and I were thinking, "why?". I guess because they have a paranoia issue where they think it's safer for the driver not to hand over the pizza at the customer's doorstep. Personally, we think that it is more hostel to not do it because you already made the customer angry (and forfeiting your gratuity) by having them come out and fetch it themselves...Not good business. They also tack on a surcharge for online orders as well, since they feel you should pay more for convenience. His customer service seems to be getting better and better isn't it? ~Gold Star for you John, now pat yourself on the back like you always do.
